Meeting Sponsorship: Members may sponsor a meeting by purchasing a sponsorship level in the form above. The District Board reserves the right to limit or censor any sponsored content. Sponsorships are voluntary and do not represent an endorsement from the MBAA.

Master Brewers reserves the right to remove any individual from attendance or other participation in any Master Brewers sponsored event without prior warning or refund, and to take additional action as determined necessary, up to and including expulsion from participation in Master Brewers. Any course of action recommended by Master Brewers is final.

Our Rich History

The Master Brewers St. Louis District dates back to 1891, when the Fourth Annual Convention was held in St. Louis.

The Practical Brewer

In 1944, master brewers Edward H. Vogel, Jr., Frank H. Schwaiger, Henry G. Leonhardt, and J. Adolph Merten identified a need for a hands-on manual. Two years later, the first edition of The Practical Brewer was presented right here in St. Louis on December 7, 1946.
